Feed your brain with sound and light!  In just a few minutes my mind is changed from overworked stresses to relaxed jell-o. I like to take this mind-ride when I get home from work. It is fun, trippy, and takes me to a very nice mental place. Watching this on my 60" TV with surround sound is like a planetarium lazer show on steroids gets me so chilled out that it is hard to peel myself of the chair. Literally within seconds of sitting down in front of a tv or a monitor, you can feel the effects of this DVD. It may be that someone who's used a Light and Sound Machine and/or meditated would be a little more attuned or sensitive to the process of entrainment which this DVD produces, but I suspect it's just as effective for anyone using it. I was originally concerned about having to "meditate" with my eyes open, but the entrainment is powerful and the images are truly syngergistic to the process. Even though my eyes did close a few times, I remained awake and felt refreshed and energized when the program ended. This is an amazing technology and I'd recommend it to anyone!

I wasn't quite sure what to expect with this DVD, but it delivered what I was looking for and then some. Initially I thought that maybe it was just some sort of gimmick, but I can honestly tell you that this DVD will virtually in an instant completely chill you out. The visuals are absolutely stunning, and the sound goes along with it perfectly (unlike many other such videos). You can't go wrong with this one...

For any of you who are seeing this product and wondering whether to buy it or not, just buy it. This movie is beautifully crafted with great sounds and beautiful visuals. This is not one of those movies that you see on the net that has the half-ass graphics and sounds. This film is over the top and well done. The really nice thing about this movie is that there 6 sections to it which are mostly 10:00 to 15:00 in length so you get to take your time and enjoy the show! This is a good DVD to watch at any time of the day, but I usually find myself watching it late at night after all of my college, school work is done. It helps set you in the mood for a nice nights sleep! I have shown this DVD to many of friends and they all love it! It is also great for party backdrops. Just play it on your TV in the background when people are over, and you are guaranteed to have questions coming your way! If you ever liked the pictures of fractals in your math classes, then you should get this because it is an hour long film full of fractals and visuals you wish you would have seen years ago! I hope this review helps you in your decision. Don't you think everlasting relaxation is worth a small price?

This just plain exeeded my expectations. Similar New Age stuff is usually more hype that results. I tested this when I got home and had been stuck in traffic and after just fifteen minutes I was very relaxed. I am very pleased with the results. It's unbelievable how easy it is to relax from a stressful day in the "modern" world - just by watching the AV3X DVD ! The visuals are breath taking. You can't keep your eyes off them. In just five minutes, you will find that your mind gently slips deeper and deeper into a state of relaxation and meditation.

What is remarkable about this DVD, is that you don't have to know anything about how to meditate. All that you have to do is turn on the TV!

I work an insane night shift in a warehouse. I need to fall asleep when I get home, but sometimes I'm still all worked up. When I can't sleep, I pop in TV MIND MACHINE.... and let me tell you, i've blanked out everytime. As a matter of fact, a few times I recall saying, "this stuff doesn't really work" and then blam, I'm comotose sleeping. I still haven't gotten to the end of any of the therapy sessions yet. I've let some of my friends who suffer from severe insomnia borrow it and it worked for them too.

I did have two nutty friends of mine say they were determined to watch all 6 sessions without passing out. They did accomplish their goal, but I have no idea what sorts of adverse affects that had on their brain and nervous system.

Even if you think you can't fall asleep, the flashing lights will make your eyelids so tired, you'll want to fall asleep.

DISCLAIMER: I almost guarantee this will help you fall asleep if you're by yourself. If you are with someone else, it doesn't work as well. This video is best used when you are alone.

When I was doing research on mind machines and different relaxation products, I was very fortunate to stumble upon the AV3X Mind Machine, especially for such a fair price. I typically use this DVD when I want to take a nap or prepare to sleep. Even after a very stressful day, the AV3X allows me to quickly experience deep relaxation - and the whole process is effortless. All it takes is to sit back and just observe the unique audio and visual images. In no time, despite how worked up I might be, I'm able to rid my mind of stress and get some badly needed rest. The customer service is terrific also. I can tell you from personal experience that the creator and seller of this DVD cares about his customers and is a class act. I highly recommend this product, because there's really nothing else like it. Its all I expected, and a whole lot more - it really works!

As a television videojournalist, my days can be stressful and can put a strain on my eyes. Looking for ways to unwind without putting chemicals or alcohol in my body, I found out about light and sound machines for relaxation. But after a little research I found even the least expensive one runs around US$125.00.
Then during a random web search I noticed Christopher Oliver's 'AV3X: The TV Mind Machine.' At about $US30.00, it sounded like a bargain and worth at least a try. I ordered from Amazon and it arrived in two days.

Now, I've seen some interesting computer generated animation videos which are sometimes interesting, sometimes painful to watch. I'm talking about the random, swirling, bubbling, lava-lamp style CGI shows with new age music that probably accompany Grateful Dead music at parties. AV3X is *not* that.

First of all, it's not meant to be 'watched' so much as 'experienced.' Visually, you'll see drifting, swirling, vivid computer generated images, much like the patterns of color you'll see if you close your eyes and look toward the sun for a few minutes. These are overlaid by a white, pulsating flash that you hardly notice after about 30 seconds. The sounds include running water, atmospheric music, and an almost imperceptible throbbing beat. It may not sound like much, but put it all together and it floods the senses. Turn off the lights, settle back in your comfy chair, and pick one of the tracks.

If you're not drooling and numb within about 5 minutes, I'd be surprised. Well, maybe not that relaxed, but it's possible. At any rate, if you let your thoughts fade and focus on what you're seeing and hearing, you'll almost automatically relax. Your body can't help it, because it's responding to a built-in reaction to the pulsing lights and beats. The music, sounds and visuals are just for interest, and they *are* very interesting, and draw you into the experience.

Bottom line: buy it. Seriously. You'll get the effect every time you watch it, don't worry. And you won't believe how well you'll sleep that night!

I have bought many [bad] DVDs claiming to take you on so-called spiritual or mind altering journeys. Each one such a disappointment. If it wasn't for a review from a trusted site, I would not have known of this GEM.
This is a DVD for true explorers of the consciousness. You feel the effect within few minutes of watching this DVD. It is very obvious to those who have worked and studied the mind altering frequencies and machines that quite a bit of thought and effort have been put to create this DVD.

It is quite refreshing to find a producer who takes his or her audience seriously and with respect.

For those explores out there THIS IS A MUST DVD.

I could not believe how relaxed I became when I watched this DVD for the very first time - it is incredible! After a long day at work, I have found this to be the BEST way to unwind and relax...for me, it is now the ONLY way to melt all of my stress off. It makes me feel like I have been laying in a hammock, rocking slowly at the beach, lazily enjoying the sunshine and shade, for days...very, very comfortably. The feeling of peaceful idleness overcomes my entire body. The combination of watching the beautiful swirls and listening to the soothing music really makes me feel as if
nothing else matters at the moment; everything is so serene.
If anyone is thinking about buying this DVD, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it in a heartbeat - I feel the AV3X is worth far more than what you would pay for it. The results are amazing! I feel very fortunate to have found the AV3X - it really does work to the extreme; if anyone asks me, I would tell them to GO BUY IT NOW!

This DVD is an amazing tool. I call it a tool because the pulsing patterns help to tune your brain and set it to a calmer state of mind. A perfect blending of sight and sound actually created a 3d like effect while I felt myself tone down and relax.
I own a lot of graphic videos but this by far is the best quality for not only visuals and sound but for overall effectiveness. I HIGHLY recommend it. It is worth more then twice the price of admission. OK now that I've said all this I think I have to go watch it again:)

I have been practicing relaxation techniques for over a year trying to get over an anxiety problem. This DVD is awesome. What makes it so special is that you don't have to concentrate on relaxing, you only have to watch the TV. Since we are so good at watching TV, this is easy! I saw immediate results the first time I viewed it. WOW! The AV3X: The TV Mind Machine truly lives up to it's name! If you feel stressed out often, (and who doesn't?), buy this DVD, pop it in your DVD player, and watch it for 10 minutes. I promise you will see results! The creators of this DVD must know their stuff, because the results are crazy! This DVD would be a great tool for those who need to relax, but can't make the time or don't want to take up Yoga or other meditation practices. I truly believe that if you try this DVD for a while, you will buy a second one just in case you lose the first! How much easier can it get than laying down on the couch watching your television? I highly reccomend this product!

I've only had one experience with this DVD, but that was enough for me to want to buy it. Its serene colorful meditative visuals put the mind at ease after a long day of stress and is a perfect background for creative work of any kind. I congratulate the creator on a wonderful job of picking just the right amount of visual / aural activity so as to draw the mind in, but still keep it in a meditation state.

What a brilliant and awesome DVD this is! I am so impressed by this DVD~ it is incredible to view, and superbly made. The beautiful images and sounds are very soothing to my eyes and ears, relaxing me instantaneously; The colors are very bright, clear and vivid...they become alive; At times, I felt as if I was flying to the center of the universe, in a hypnotic fashion...I was mesmerized! I have never seen anything like this before~ it's amazing!
I would, without hesitation~ recommend the AV3X to anyone; It is well worth the price, and a small investment for how it will make you feel...it really works. The very first time I watched this DVD, I had to watch it over again. I've tried many other relaxation / unstressing tools before, but NOTHING has EVER come close to this DVD...it produces results FAST. I was a bit skeptic when my friend mentioned he had a DVD that would help me relax AND boost my creativity at the same time. It sounded like some infomercial sales pitch - but now I understand his excitement to pass this on to me. I'm a full-time student as well as a freelance developer, and it really helps. I come home from class a little frazzled from the hustle and bustle and the long drive from school, put in the DVD and just relax for a good 10-20 minutes. My stress melts right off, and I've got my creative gears spinning to boot. It took a few minutes the first time to get over my initial hesitation - I'd never done anything like this before - but the flow of the music and visuals eventually worked their magic on me and I was convinced.
